in@nexlab.systemsFrequently asked questions
There’s no sound. What should I do?
Check the device volume and silent mode. The note button in Bimlu turns off only the background music; the game sounds keep playing.
How do I turn off screen pinning?
Go back to the title screen and tap the lock button again. Or use the system method: usually holding the Back and Overview buttons, or swiping up and holding, depending on the device.
How do I change the language?
Tap the round flag on the title screen and pick another one. Bimlu switches to the new language right away and remembers your choice.
How do I switch heroes?
On the title screen there’s an arrows button above the characters. It swaps the boy and the girl. The chosen hero plays in every game.
Does it need the internet?
No. Bimlu never goes online; everything works offline.
Where did the drawings go after reinstalling?
Drawings and builds are stored only on the device itself. We never send them anywhere, so they’re deleted along with the app.
My child can’t read yet. Will they manage?
Yes. Bimlu says out loud what to do, and the language is picked by a flag. A hint repeats until your child gets it, then it isn’t repeated again.
My child swipes and leaves the game
The “back” gesture is turned off in games; the only way out is the home button. To keep your child from switching to other apps, turn on screen pinning (the lock button).
Does it work on phones?
Yes, on phones and tablets with Android 7.0 or later. Tablets are more comfortable, since the targets are bigger.
Can my child lose?
No. Bimlu has no timers, no lives and no game over screen. The score only goes up, and Bimlu cheers every 10 points.
